TASK 1
Company App Design 2.0

1. YOUR SELECTED COMPANY APP
- Download & analyze your selected company app
- What's your gut feeling? What would you like to add? What can be improved?
- Give 3 great points on the app
- Give 3 areas for improvement
- What do the users say in the reviews? What's useful for your project there?
(complaints about slow response or tech issues may not be useful)

2. MARKET STUDY
Find 3 competitors APPS
- What do they do better than your selected company?
- What are the features you could bring in your project?

3. LEFT FIELD
- find unrelated apps to your project or market with great features you could bring in your project!

🔎 I chose to redesign the Xbox app because I think it has a lot of room for improvement. I often use an Xbox controller to play games like Forza Horizon 4, but the mobile app doesn’t really make my experience any easier. Most of my gaming social life happens on Steam, and when I need to buy a controller or accessories, I have to jump between the official website and different shopping apps.

With my redesign, I want the Xbox app to better fit into players’ daily lives—not just for managing games, but also for socializing and buying devices easily. I hope it can become a more useful and connected part of the Xbox ecosystem.

In my redesign, I want to make the Xbox app more organized and easy to use. The navigation will be simplified, and the overall look will feel more modern and consistent. I’ll also merge the chat and party features to make social interactions smoother. Besides that, I plan to add a “Device Store” section where players can buy controllers or accessories directly in the app, making the whole experience more complete.
